Asphalt Testing

Field and laboratory asphalt tests are conducted by qualified Technologists.

Field Tests

Typical field tests during construction consist of field nuclear densities, temperature and coring. All field equipment is calibrated to ensure accurate readings. Field supervision is also available for troubleshooting and roll patterns during cold, rainy or hot weather cycles.

Laboratory Tests

Laboratory testing is conducted for Marshall density, asphalt cement content, voids in mineral aggregate, flow, air voids, stability, aggregate gradation, core thickness and core density.
